With more than two decades of experience in the hedge fund industry—including roles as Director of Research at Citadel Fundamental Strategies and as founder of Corvex Management—Michael brings a unique, data-driven perspective to the insurance industry. As Chief Innovation Officer at Optifino Michael applies big data and sophisticated analytics to streamline case design, policy selection, and ongoing portfolio management. Ventrice Lam is Chief Operating Officer at Optifino, where she is building the operational infrastructure and revenue engine to transform how life insurance is sold and delivered. With 15+ years of experience in insurance, financial services, and healthcare, she brings both strategic clarity and executional rigor. Previously, she scaled Cartwheel, a Series A telehealth startup, across four states and helped grow patient load 6x. At Lemonade, she drove national expansion, operational transformation, and regulatory enablement through its IPO and Metromile acquisition. Earlier, she worked at Goldman Sachs and advised early-stage founders. She excels at scaling teams, systems, and trust.

Mark joined Optifino in 2025 after serving as fractional CMO at intention.ly, where he supported award-winning financial services clients. Previously, he led marketing at RetireOne where he helped develop and market the outsourced insurance desk model. At Jefferson National, he oversaw customer experience and digital marketing, guiding marketing automation and user experience design, and was part of the leadership team that managed its 2017 sale to Nationwide. Early in his career, Mark worked with filmmaker Donna Lawrence on several short-form documentaries including “The Motown Sound,” and Sundance Film Festival’s official selection “Jazz Is…” Most recently he voiced historical figures for the acclaimed public radio series and podcast “The Reckoning.”
